Writing

I have been passionate about writing from an early age and have always enjoyed creating short stories and longer works. Previously, I have presented a poem on regional TV (a copy might be on VHS somewhere!), published flash fiction on what-was-then brand new WAP technology as well as entering competitions and publishing some short stories.

Since starting my MA in Creative Writing in 2019, I have begun to take it a bit more seriously and to focus more attention on developing my writing.

Recently, I was longlisted in the Bridport Peggy Chapman-Andrews Novel Award (2022) as well as in two of the Globe Soup 7-Day Story Challenges (2021/2022) and The Fiction Factory Short Story Competition (2023). Below are links to my most recent publications.
